Arrival

Finally, after a rather hot and stuffy car journey, the girls, errr chickens, have arrived. Here's a little 'unboxing video'.

They settled down very quickly and soon began to forage in the leaves.

 When it came to bed time, the girls were rather stubborn and wanted to stay up late, so we went out and put them in their shed. An hour later they were all fast asleep on the floor. I suppose we made it so comfy (cardboard-newspaper-sawdust-straw) that they prefer it to their perch!

We're just waiting for our first egg!
